Plastic surgeons must first and foremost be caring and compassionate physicians; their primary concern should be for their patient's safety and well being. I believe that plastic surgeons build their reputations, not by advertising, but by the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their patients. Choosing a plastic surgeon is one of the most important decisions you will make. Please let us help make the process less intimidating. Your Consultation The consultation is an opportunity to gather information, to determine whether a cosmetic procedure is right for you, and to decide whether you feel comfortable and secure under the care of a specific plastic surgeon. Your appointment will be with Dr. Grenley, and not simply a nurse consultation as is sometimes the case in other offices. Dr. Grenley will spend as much time as you need, explaining the procedures and answering your questions, discussing the benefits to you as well as any limitations and risks. At the end of the consultation you should feel that the discussion has been complete and you questions have been answered fully. You will never feel pressured to schedule surgery. You may tour our office and surgical facilities and view videotapes from our patient education library. Additional follow-up consultations are encouraged and are complimentary. If a patient schedules surgery, they will be seen approximately two weeks prior to their procedure for a pre-operative visit. At that time the procedure is again discussed and all questions are answered, pre-operative instructions are given, the medical history is reviewed and any prescriptions are written.
