Dr. Kirby was accepted early to Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree (MD). While attending Texas A&M, Dr. Kirby received several awards for research, scholarship, and peer appreciation. Dr. Kirby was chosen to attend a competitive six-year integrated plastic surgery residency training program at the University of Kentucky, a Level 1 trauma center.
