Dr. Jabs graduated from the University of Southern California before pursuing graduate work at the University of Illinois in Chicago where he received a Ph.D. in Immunology. He then attended Rush Medical College in Chicago obtaining his M.D. in 1984. Dr. Jabs trained in general surgery at St.Vincent's Hospital in New York City followed by plastic surgery training at world renowned Columbia University before moving to the Washington, D.C. area. Dr. Jabs has authored several papers on plastic surgery topics and has presented at major national meetings of plastic and cosmetic surgeons. His most recent paper dealt with a new technique to markedly reduce post operative pain and narcotic use in breast augmentations. He is on staff at Suburban Hospital in Maryland and Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda and has held academic appointments at the University of Connecticut and at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Jabs is a committed family man. He is married and has three children. He has gone on medical missions to Haiti and Guatemala where he treated children with cleft lips and palates, burns and other facial deformities. Dr. Wendell C. Perry is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Howard University and his doctor of medicine degree from Howard University. Dr. Perry finished his basic surgery teaching fellowship and residency at Howard University Hospital. After finishing his general surgery training he served as an instructor in the division of surgery. As a participating in basic surgeon his responsibilities consisted of covering basic surgery trauma emergencies at a level I University trauma center, education of medical trainees and residents and covering a general surgery service.
